It may be that, for better or worse, your child has already declared their allegiance to one team or another. There are some themes which have been around for a while – and their popularity remains undiminished. They can therefore be justly described as classics. We’re talking about the outer space, the pirate and the dinosaur.

For the most part, the quilts we’ve talked about so far are largely gender-neutral. Astronauts, pirates and dinosaurs can be just appealing to girls as they are to boys – and football, while undoubtedly better-loved by boys than it is girls, this gap shows signs of narrowing in today’s world.
There are some quilt covers which will appeal more to one gender than the other. In the case of boys, predictably, we are talking about those which feature toys. For this reason, many of them will love quilts which proudly display those toys – be they BMX bicycles or racing cars.

The fact remains, however, that the overwhelming majority of little girls remain stubbornly enamored with princesses, fairytale castles and the colour pink. We have already touched upon Minnie Mouse, but there are a number of other female Disney heroines represented in our catalogue. This trio of classic Disney heroines, for example, brings together three entirely different eras. Or there is the Disney Princess bedding – almost every girl’s dream come true.
In vogue currently is one of the latest Disney offerings, Frozen – a film which features a beautiful princess, a bumbling male accomplice and a hilarious supporting cast.
